Gisteren was de voorstelling Boulevard of Broken Beats van Motion Unlimited te zien op het Shoot Me Film Festival. Een groot orkest speelde een symfonische mengeling van jazz, klassiek en wereldmuziek bij video -en filmbeelden, om het publiek gedurende een etmaal mee te nemen naar het verhaal van een stad die nooit slaapt. Deze totaalbeleving in beeld en geluid werd gepresenteerd op een hele bijzondere locatie: de gigantische hal van de E.ON energiecentrale.

Op dezelfde locatie vond tenslotte de prijsuitreiking plaats van de Dutch Music Video Competition en de Different Angle Film Competition.

De winnaars van de Dutch Music Video Competition:
Beste Internationale viceoclip: Hey / Artiest: Eatliz, van regisseur Guy Ben Shetrit, Israël.
Publieksprijs Beste Internationale Videoclip: Rising Tide/Artiest: Quio, van regisseur Christine Lang, Duitsland.
Beste Nederlandse videoclip: Squeeze Me / Artiest: Kraak & Smaak, van  regisseurs André Maat en Henk Loorbach.
Publieksprijs Beste Nederlandse Videoclip: Here Comes the Summer / Artiest: Moke, van Wouter Stoter en Marleen Jonkman

De winnaar van de Different Angle Film Competition:
Left Behind van regisseurs Andreas Gräfenstein, Fabian Daub uit Duitsland.
De publieksprijs werd gewonnen door de Nederlandse film Roos Rebergen - 'Weet Ik Niet Zo Goed' van Bas Berkhout.

Met het multimedia spektakel van Motion Unlimited en de feestelijke prijsuitreiking werd de vijfde editie van het Shoot Me Film Festival afgesloten.
Gedurende elf dagen kwamen in Den Haag publiek, artiesten en filmmakers bij elkaar en was er een fantastische combinatie van film, debat, muziek en feest.

Hierbij willen we graag iedereen bedanken die heeft meegeholpen en een bijdrage heeft geleverd aan deze vijfde editie van het Shoot Me Film Festival: sponsoren, medewerkers, vrijwilligers, artiesten, filmmakers en bezoekers. Zonder jullie was het niet mogelijk geweest om een evenement als dit te organiseren. Bedankt!

Yesterday Motion Unlimited presented their show Boulevard of Broken Beats at the Shoot Me Film Festival. A large orchestra played a symphonic mix of jazz, classical and World music, accompanying video and movie images, to tell the audience the story of 24 hours in a city that never sleeps. This complete experience of sound and image was set in a very special location: the enormous hall of the E.On power station.
In the same location the award ceremony of the Dutch Music Video Competition and the Different Angle Film Competition took place.The winners of the Dutch Music Video Competition:Best International Music Video: Hey / Artist: Eatliz, by director Guy Ben Shetrit, Israel.
Audience Award Best International Music Video: Rising Tide/Artist: Quio, director Christine Lang, Germany.

The multimedia spectacle of Motion Unlimited and the festive award ceremony closed the fifth edition of the Shoot Me Film Festival. The past eleven days audience, artists and filmmakers met each other in The Hague and there was a wonderful combination of film, debates, music and parties.
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this fifth edition of the Shoot Me Film Festival. Sponsors, employees, volunteers, artists, filmmakers and visitors, without you it would not have been possible to organize an event like this.  Thank you!
